Twisted Trees On Lake at Sunset - Twisted bare trees on the shore of Barr Lake, during sunset, in Barr Lake State Park, Brighton, Colorado, northeast of Denver in the Spring. Channel catfish, small and large-mouth bass, rainbow trout, walleye, bluegill, and tiger muskie make their home in the waters of Barr Lake. There is a nearly 9 mile trail around Barr Lake. Bald eagles spend the winter at Barr Lake and one pair nests every year. Over 350 species of birds have been spotted in Barr Lake State Park.
